Russ And Ray And Tipton And Matt And Fred And Chance And jojo and more special guests gonna heat up the dead of Jan again in a couple weeks with Jon steering the boat- gonna cut it fast and hard- another new record!!!!!!

Cloudbursting, the new record is ready for release this fall. We started a new residency at Bard coffee this week, and will be there every tues. 6-8pm. Cloudbursting is available at Digstation.com for download.

this song is called other mans eyes and was the first track we did in the morning of the first day of tracking with russ and ray- having never played together before- i think it came out beautifully.

We finished Cloudbursting, my third record with Jon in 18 months- we had Russ Lawton on drums, Ray Paczowski on Keys, Matt Young on harmonica, Jason Phelps on mando, Johanna Conlan on back-up vocals, and Mark Tipton on trumpet. Fred and I and Jon holding down the fort, and my daughter Isabella on Xylophone. We got 13 tracks: 56 minutes- head to master at Gateway by the end of month- with a hopeful release date in April. A beautiful team effort making music!!!

heading back in with more time and some great players- the album is called Cloudbursting- it will focus more on the ballad and movement on the guitar and sound- joyful sound-

thanks to Sara for throwing up Galaxie off of Lucie's Hobo Package this past Sunday- this is a great two hour show of contemporary singer-songwriters on MPBN 90.1- it's an honor- i used to cook on Sunday and listen in hopes that one day i would hear a tune of mine- a girlfriend called me this past Sunday while i was at a river to tell me she heard a song of mine while she was cooking for her week- things do happen! a little sweat- a few tears and a boatload of courage and a lot of learning can go a long way- thanks Hilary and Sara, Zeile.

finally with the help of fred and melissa we fixed all my crazy-ass grammar on the layout- it looks amazing- and i payed Oasis for one thousand records and 200 digital cards with digstation- three weeks: Lucies Hobo Package will see light!

"galaxie" was written in honor of my 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 and my love affair with the road. it is based on a true story. enjoy.

you can listen to" Comin' up roses"! this is the first track off of "Lucies Hobo Package" which i will release in the spring this song is dedicated to all our sons and daughters over seas fighting for peace- especially during this holiday season. cheers- zeile.

well, short of the toilet almost overflowing- we made it in and out of the halo in six days with a new record. the angels helped out providing drum work last minute was Mark Cousins who plays with Sean Mencher and Slaid Cleaves, Eric Heintz on electric guitar my old bandmate from Ditchweed road, and Karl Anderson from The Wrecking on Hammond organ and Rhodes- fred was a champ as always- and Jon successfully drove the ship home. thank you fellas and angels- will release in the new year. ill put a sneak peak up after we master.

Fred and I head into The Halo studio to begin recording Lucies Hobo Package!!! I am really excited to begin my third studio experience and second with Jon- got some of the butterflies out and hope to be creating a gorgeous and fun follow up- sister album to Orion's Belt. Lucies Hobo Package will be my second release in less than six months and i hope to complete the triad by the end of the summer of 2009! there will also be a couple of surprise guests on the album!
